IT'S TAKEN a week but TMZ.com has finally figured out how the Los Angeles Times beat them on the Arnold Schwarzenegger babydaddy story

- Maria Shriver's peeps tipped them off.
TMZ says members of Team Maria sang like canaries because she was so angry at her lunkhead husband.

Unnamed Maria friends said that when she found out that Arnold had done the Millie Diddle with longtime housekeeper Mildred Patty Baena and was the father of the maid's son, she went "hysterical" and wanted to call a news conference.

Maria's minions convinced her that leaking the details would be a better plan. The story now goes that Maria found out about the baby in late April or early May. Arnold sources say they knew she leaked the story.

* A Maria friend told

RadarOnline.com that she will be filing for divorce and has reportedly hired high-profile celeb divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to terminate "The Terminator."

A former employee said: "Maria didn't suspect for one second that Patty was messing about with her husband. But there were others who she wasn't quite so sure about."

Those dominoes will all begin to fall shortly.

schoolboy who turned murderous hitman for just £200

15-YEAR-OLD schoolboy blasted a mum to death with a sawn-off shotgun for just s200 - in what shocked detectives called a "casual, cool" contract hit.
Santre Gayle, known by the street name "Riot", shot 26-year-old Gulistan Subasi in the chest on her own doorstep.
CCTV recorded the "hitboy" calmly walking up to Gulistan's flat in Hackney, London, pulling the weapon from his rucksack and opening fire before fleeing.
When detectives saw the footage, they believed they were dealing with a pro.
DI Andy Charmers, who led the investigation, said: "It's very casual, very cool - it's frightening."
Police found Gulistan's mum cradling her daughter in the hallway of the flat.
The prosecution had claimed that Gayle was hired by Gulistan's former husband because he feared she was planning to kidnap their son and take him to Turkey.
Gayle expected s2000 but only got s200 reporters@dailyrecord.co.uk for the murder. But detectives believe he was more interested in making a name for himself in London street gang Kensal Green Boys.
Gayle was caught after boasting about the hit to another youth.
Di Charmers said: "He was a bit of a wannabe. One motive is money, but it could be the need to impress the older men."
After a two-month trial, an Old Bailey jury convicted Gayle, now 16, and Izak Billy, 21, of murdering Gulistan - who leaves behind a six-year-old son.
Billy, a cannabis dealer known as "Ice", had recruited Gayle because he had no links to the victim or the Turkish community.
Gulistan's ex-husband Serdar Ozbek, 28, and alleged middlemen Leigh Bryan, 25, and Paul Nicoloau, 29, were all cleared.

Vallejo police ID 19-year-old killed in suspected gang-related shooting Sunday

Police have identified a Vallejo man killed Sunday in what may have been a gang-related shooting in the Country Club Crest neighborhood.
Narco McFarland, 19, received multiple gun shot wounds, which later proved fatal, on the 100 block of Cynthia Avenue shortly before 3:45 p.m.

Earlier police reports gave the incorrect age for McFarland, who was found in front of a residence on that street.

Gang relations may have been the motivating factor in Sunday's shooting, Vallejo police public information officer Sgt. Jeff Bassett said Monday.

McFarland was awake but allegedly uncooperative with police who were questioning him before he was airlifted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, police and fire officials said Sunday. He later died at the hospital, police reported after 9 p.m. Sunday.

Police continue to investigate the shooting, the city's eighth homicide in 2011.

Police Chief Robert Nichelini responded to public concerns about an apparent increase in city homicides.

"The average has remained unchanged over the years -- 90 percent of murder victims in Vallejo either knew each other or were involved in activity associated with violent criminal behavior," Nichelini said. "That said, they still are victims, still have families and a high number of murders still adversely affect the reputation of the city."

The unincorporated portion of the city has seen two more fatal shootings this year, with the May 10 deaths of Ramone Hatfield, 30, of

In Vallejo's other recent non-fatal shootings, police said Thursday's victim Deaundre Alexander, 23, of Vallejo, who received numerous gunshot wounds on Carolina Street, is expected to recover.

Meanwhile, a California Highway Patrol official could offer no update Monday in a double nonfatal shooting on Interstate 780, also Thursday night. Victims Arturo Venegas, 19, of Vallejo, and Daniel Rodriguez, 20, of Benicia, were reportedly shot from a passing truck while traveling eastbound on the highway.

Anyone with information on recent Vallejo shootings is asked to contact the Vallejo Police

Bryan Stow suspect Giovanni Ramirez member of Los Angeles street gang

Giovanni Ramirez, the man arrested in connection with the Bryan Stow beating, is associated with a Los Angeles street gang, police announced Monday.

Ramirez, 31, who is on parole for a number of convictions, is associated with the Varrio Nuevo Estrada gang -- just one of 34 gangs located in the East LA area, Det. Jose Carillo told CNN.

The arrest of a suspect in the Stow case was announced Sunday during a news conference that took place as the scene of the crime, Dodger Stadium.

Police were given a tip by a parole officer who thought Ramirez resembled one of the men in a police sketch released in the case.

Stow, 42, was attacked after leaving a Giants vs. Dodgers game on opening day, and was rendered unconscious when he was blindsided by a punch to the back of the head. Two men proceeded to pummel and kick him in the head as he lay unconscious on the pavement. Ramirez is believed to be the main aggressor of the two suspects.

The assailants fled in a four-door sedan with a woman and male child about 10 years of age, according to witnesses. Police are still searching for the man and the woman involved in the attack.
